With two decades in UX and over 10 years in enterprise, Nova Wehman-Brown is the Senior Manager of UX Research and Strategy at Accela, a leading CivicTech enterprise company. Nova was “raised” in UX as a content strategist and necessarily branched out into research while wearing many hats in start-ups. Her experience spans organizations of all sizes and industries ranging from the small design studios to large household names like Wells Fargo, Walmart.com, TiVo, Docusign, and Blue Shield of California. She has also written and consulted for many brands, including Pilsbury, Kinkos, and Riverbed Technologies. An Oakland native raised in a restaurant by Bay Area hippies, Nova loves to support the culinary and performing arts as a food consultant, storytelling specialist, and subject-matter expert. She also loves cheese.
